PURPOSE
Some affected vehicles may experience abnormal exhaust noise during acceleration. Customers may describe the noise as “like marbles in the exhaust” or “a pinging noise.” This noise may be due to the mix of exhaust gases resulting from the internal construction of the front exhaust pipe. Installing a new front exhaust pipe assembly with modified internal construction will prevent the noise. The internal design of the new front exhaust pipe corrects the exhaust gas flow for optimum noise reduction.
